What is Anthropic Claude?
Claude is the family of language models from the company Anthropic. It can be used through its own application, through a programming interface and through the platforms of large cloud providers. Typical strengths are handling long texts, analysis and support with programming.
Typical use cases
- Evaluating and summarising long documents.
- Support with texts, concepts and documentation.
- Help with scripts, configurations and troubleshooting.
- Connection to your own workflows through the interface.
Benefits and limits
The benefit is powerful models and flexible ways of access. Limits are dependence on one provider, running costs and the need to verify results, because Claude can also be wrong. Again: confidential data belongs only where terms and protection have been checked.
Data protection and security: check points
Terms change. Check the provider current information before use and seek legal advice if needed. We do not give a legal assessment.
- Which access route is used (application, interface, cloud platform) and which terms apply?
- Are inputs used for training, and how long is data stored?
- Where does processing take place, and how are third-country transfers handled?
- Is there a data processing agreement?
- Who may use the service, and which data must not be entered?
How INZOSO helps with Claude
We check whether Claude fits your use case, set up access and permissions, write an AI policy together with you and, on request, connect Claude to your workflows. We compare vendor-neutrally with OpenAI, Gemini and local models.
